Where bouclé works best
Bouclé shines on sculptural pieces such as curved sofas, barrel chairs, ottomans and headboards, where its texture catches light and shadow. Creamy whites and oatmeal tones are the classic look, but coloured bouclés make a bold statement on a single accent chair.
Living with bouclé
Because the loops are raised, pet claws can catch them, so bouclé is best for adult spaces or low-traffic pieces. Performance bouclés with stain-resistant finishes are easier to keep looking fresh. Always order a sample: bouclé loops vary a lot in size and softness.
